This is the list of the most commonly requested features for the next releases of musikCube; check also this bug and feature list (http://www.musikcube.com/punbb/viewtopic.php?id=1299) in the forum! These already have been noted and do not need to be continually requested.

I don’t know if I will be able to keep this list updated or not, so others please contribute. Items already implemented currently or for the next release have been noted.

If you have any more feature requests, please submit a new ticket on the Trac (http://musikcube.clangen.org/) page, making sure to change the Type to enhancement, but keep also in mind, that there won't be an official update for mC1 (in favour of developing mC2 from the scratch)!

Feature Requests

For every track, display the playlists it belongs to. like gmail's "labels".
  • Indexing from archived media (CD, DVD of MP3s, etc...) – view related thread (http://www.musikcube.com/punbb/viewtopic.php?id=1291)
Index tunes from CDs and DVDs, asking to insert the media when needed.

When dbl-clicked, a track would be added to "now playing" and a notification shown, allowing to play the track immediatly or right after the current one.

Column display can turn into field for editing of that tag entry

Title bar, now playing info, taskbar, pop-up, etc. customizable to display desired text
Whether core feature or plugin, ability to display tag imbedded images and folder based images. Possibility to allow cover art lookup

Currently a "hacked" french patch is developed by MEstk, german patch by insomnia, and spanish patch by amgeek. Italian and other comming "soon"?
