* what i really miss is the possibility to add lyrics to the ID3 tags!
* a preview for "tag from filename" and "tag to filename" would be nice.
* why doesn't mC write the ID3 tags to the files instantly? it took me month to find this function. a notice in the tag properties would help.

1. mC only supports the basic tags, so there is space for improvement (but lyrics are not the most important ones)
2. Hm, yes, could be helpful. Again, space for improvements.
3. I think because you have the choice to make changes only to the database and not the files itselfs. And if your changes are correct you can finalize it.

2. DocTriv look at the program MP3Tag youve told me, theres a preview for tagging, very useful

Yeah, I use mp3tag, too (especially since the tagging bugs in mC). Even more useful then the preview is the DUMMY-function there!

btw... is there anywhere a possibility to save a song rating inside the tags? o.o

With $DUMMY you can exclude parts for tag-from-filename in mp3tag.
In mC you can't save ratings in tags.

saving ratings in tags isn't a good idea. my ratings are personal and i don't want to share them when i share my files..
