Add more hotkey combinations!

I just wanted to say, I'd like to use the space bar to pause/unpause.
So allowing more keys to be used in the hotkeys would be great.

and a question, is it normal for musikcube to crash when opening a wma protected song?

Re: Add more hotkey combinations!

Uhm, goto File>settings>Preferences>click global hotkeys, and then place your mouse in the Play or Pause field; now click Space...
That's it :-)

Protected WMA songs are not supported by musikCube and likely never will be - however I would consider it a bug if it crashes on them; I will test this out later.

Thats the thing, I click the "Play of Pause" box and when I press the space bar, it shows up as "None".
With any key combo it ends up showing "None"

Re: Add more hotkey combinations!

That's just weird, are you using the latest version? And are you using specific plugins?

Re: Add more hotkey combinations!

There seems to be a bug which blocks some hotkey combinations, but I can't reproduce it always.
Try this: Disable (or enable, then disable) the global hotkeys option first (press also "OK" after that), then you should be able to config the keys.

I have the same problem. Workaround didn't help

Re: Add more hotkey combinations!

Try playing around with en- and disabling it (incl. closing the Hotkey dialogue via "OK") and maybe also with restarting mC.

When I start mC (Hotkeys enabled), I can't change (some) combinations. After some dis- and re-enabling, it works.

Re: Add more hotkey combinations!

Hi, nice app this, seems to be much less of a resource hog than itunes.

I'm having the same problems as those above, would really like to have spacebar as pause/play hotkey. I've tried the workarounds and successive enable/disable/restart runs to no avail. Just thought I'd add my voice to the issue.

Good luck with the developments.
