At first, I had no troubles with Dynamic lists. I opened the "create" dialog to poke around, and then closed it without creating a playlist.
The next time I started mC, the two existing Dynamic Playlists had disappeared. I clicked on the "Create..." button, only to get an error:
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\musikcube\musickCube.exe
This application had requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
Once I hit "ok" the program ends. It starts up again fine, and everything else seems to work.
I tried reinstalling mC, but I still get the same error.
Edit: I forgot... I'm running XP Pro SP2

Severity: Critical?
mC Version: 1.0
OS Version: XP SP2
I tried it and got a different result.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. click create
2. delete "New Playlist" confirm with enter
3. close the opened editor with OK
Result: Playlists disappeared randomly from bottom to top each cycle. After several cycles the result is clearly to be seen.
No Error was displayed on my system.

Hm, I can't reproduce such strange behavior(s) now.
Can you please describe the steps for reproducing more exactly?
Offline
1. click create
2. 'New Playlist' is shown and selected
3. DEL or BACKSPACE, i guess there was no difference
4. ENTER
5. editor is open
6. mouseclick OK
7. empty dynamic playlist created and randomly? some are gone
8. delete empty playlist
EDIT: Done this again (with BACKSPACE) to verify if I missed something and now even my last Dynamic Plylist has gone.

Well, we have a new candidate for the "Greatest Mystery Bug"... Crackling sound beware... ![]()
I tried it like LordShip described:
At first try (with Backspace) nothing seems to happen. After restarting mC, the nameless playlist was away but also one if my own lists.
After that I tried it agaon for a couple of times (del and backspace and a lot of mC restarts), but the most times nothing happened anymore (the nameless list was still there). Once the nameless list was gone after mC restart.
Real strange...! I am using Win XP SP1 with a new mC 1.0 Final installation.
I checked the database with a SQL viewer but did not see much (well, maybe it is because I don't know SQL): The list that was deleted had the highest "dyn_playlist_order" (10; and I have the "9" twice there but no "6").
Well, I backuped/exported my database before that (that is the cause for the not-working of a reinstallation, poco153. The playlists are inside the DB). After trying it again once with my backuped list, nothing was gone after a restart...
Update: I tried is numerous times with deleting the playlist after creation, but now I got no missing playlists.
PS: Nameless playlists shouldn't be allowed.
