same problem if i turn first my hd on.

but know i have add only 1 sond from my external deviece to the libary and than i can play all songs.

ok i try to explain but my english isnt very good

to play a song from the external hd, i klick only on the left side on my ext.hd in the deviceslist.
there i dont can play anysong

if i add only one folder from the ext.hd in the  directory synchronization and if i select now the ext.hd, i can play all songs.

mhm maybe the problem was/is another...

yesterday i activate the filename register and saw that there were many fieles with a wron path...
normal:
D:\´mp3World by bluna!!!
and after i take a closer look. i saw that all my songs are duplicatet with this directory
D:\A´mp3World by bluna!!!     (was A with two circels about)

i never chage the name of the folder...

after i clear my database and resyncro. my ext hd was all normal...

very strange...

i think too that we should create a new thread!?!?

ps: If i had clear my database it wasent all clear. the synchronisation of my intern hd wasent clear!?!?  an other bug?

I think that when you search and double click it should replace your 'now playing' with the entire list of results and then when you change view to Library it should automatically replace the 'Now Playing' with your library, this is the way it works in iTunes and it is very inituative. Essentially the player plays what you are viewing rather than something "random".

Yeah, iTunes may be inituative, but I want to browse my library and have a "static" list of songs to play... I guess Now Playing is the biggest difference between mC and iT.

PS: Rajiv, because I am not able to do it , could you rename this thread into:
"A list of bugs and feature suggestions... (Road to mC 1.1)"

del and f2 don't work on playlists.
ctrl + up,down just select them.

Auto-Sync and normal syncing only works for the main lib. Syncing the Collected lib works only via Collected context menu option. It's not a bug, but I see space for improvements in this behavior, too.

I don't think so. You only can use "%" as a wildcard (which is only necessary because of the foreign characters bug: if you wanna search for e.g "Ärzte", the search term "ärzte" won't show the right songs, "%rzte" will do it).

Okay, my description was not fully correct and maybe there was an improvement. Nevertheless: mC does not recognize lower and upper-case umlauts as the same characters, so "ärzte" won't show you "Ärzte" (and "FUNKSTÖRUNG" not "Funkstörung"), But "Ärzte" will show you "Die Ärzte".

Oh, it really works a bit! "portis%over" and "portis% over" will show me "Over" from "Portishead" (other combinations or order of the terms seem not to work).

Random playback should be improved as the current implantation makes the "randomness" a little bit predictable (well, kinda )
