Bug Description: When attempting to rip CD tracks to a path that doesn't exist, insted of creating that path, musikCube brings up a dialog saying that the rip was successful (instantly), and no tracks are ripped.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Insert an audio CD
2. Right click its icon inside of musikCube -> Rip
3. Change path to "C:\foo\bar"
4. Hit "Rip Entire Disc"

On my way through old bug reports I cheched this and can't reproduce it with CVS 07/02/06. mC creates folders and rips into them.

I seem to be having a similar problem - I'm running 1.0 on WinXP SP2. If I try a rip a disc to a folder that does not exist it comes up with the message saying the rip is completed but no files are created. If I create the folder first then it works OK. The interesting thing is that this only occurs when I use FLAC, I had no problem with Ogg or MP3.

I did a FLAC test on Win XP SP1 with mC 1.0 final, but only ripped one single song (after freedb lookup): A folder is created.
Under "Path" I wrote the path to my folder for new music, e.g. <C:\Music\New grabbed>.
I activated the "Rename files..."-option with the following settings: <$ARTIST - $ALBUM\$ARTIST - $TRACK - $TITLE>.
So, my ripped FLAC file is saved in <C:\Music\New grabbed\Artist - Album\Artist - Track - Title.flac>
Update:
I thought about the issue again and made further testing (I should have read the way of reproducing better :-) - there IS a (very small) bug:
If you enter in the "Path"-field a path/directory which does not exist, mC will create it when press the Rip buttons - but nothing is ripped, although mC said so (ergo: just hit Rip again, now it works).
If you fill in the new directories in the "Rename files..."-option (e.g. something like <NewFolder\$ARTIST - $ALBUM\$ARTIST - $TRACK - $TITLE>), then the folders are created and the songs are ripped with no problems.
PS: Everything without "<>".
PPS: These behaviours happen with all encoders.

Using FLAC 1.2.1b (I think that's right, most recent one anyways) it will create the new folder for you, which is great, but it skips the first track. If you create the folder prior to ripping it will rip all of the tracks.
I know mC 1 is on hold for now but maybe this would be helpful to know for mC2.

I have a similar problem, actually one that corresponds to an earlier unconfirmed bug that had been closed. When I rip from a CD into a new folder, the first track is not ripped.

I've had this similar issue before with other audio ripping tracks.
